Details: Project Vida invites you to LOVE yourself this February and learn how to live with diabetes. Offered every Saturday in February, the courses will feature the opportunity to learn with fun games and activities and get the chance to meet others with diabetes.
These free, interactive and comprehensive courses will provide an overview to diabetes and are designed to help understand diabetes and how it affects the body. The program, presented by TMF Health Quality Institute, will feature topics on the management of diabetes through nutritional habits, prevention of complications, proper physical activities and more! There will be door prizes every Saturday and those who attend all four Saturdays will be eligible for the mega door prize – a 52” LCD Plasma TV! The courses will empower you with the necessary knowledge, tools and skills to manage your diabetes in order to live a healthier and fulfilled life.

Details: We offer individual education and group classes that focus on teaching you the self-management skills necessary for getting your blood glucose under control. This will minimize or prevent the complications of diabetes. This requires a referral from your physician.
